Magnetic Interference Compensation Using the Adaptive LMS Algorithm

The aim of this study is to evaluate the method for compensation magnetic field interference from mains, which consists primarily components with a frequency 50 (60) Hz and its multiples. setup compensates interfering using three Helmholtz coils, sensors, digital processing unit, power amplifiers. unit implements an adaptive least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm calculate currents through coils that are necessary compensation. prototype fully at 50, 150, 250, 350 down noise level sensor arrangement within 20 s reduces higher harmonics. overall reduction in rms value better than 28 dB, significantly achieved range 0 400 Hz.
